Welcome

Welcome

Abergavenny Camera Club is a fast expanding and friendly club. The aim of the club is to promote the art of photography within Abergavenny and surrounding areas as well as enjoying ourselves at the same time. Our members have various levels of experience ranging from the absolute beginner through to professional photographers who earn a living from this wonderful art.

The club is focussed on providing a high-quality level of service to its members through regular meetings and photographic trips and events. Our Programme has many varied activities that aim to meet all of our members interests and needs. Typical topics include, but are not limited to:

  1. Quality Guest Speakers

  2. Technique Evenings

  3. Club Photographic Outings (Evenings, day trips and weekends away)

  4. Internal Club Competitions

  5. Inter-Club Battles

  6. Involvement with the local community through activities organised with local schools and Rural Community Action events.

The club is also proud to be affiliated with the Welsh Photographic Federation (WPF) and supports organised events such as the annual WPF Convention held at Lampeter along with competitions and exhibitions including the Welsh Salon.
