ACC Programme 2026

Here are the activities for the year. All in-person internal events are held at St Michael's Centre, NP7 5UD. Meeting times are second and fourth Mondays in each month, between 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

we are meeting in person at St Michael's unless explicitly stated otherwise. Having said this, we have discovered the power of Zoom in the reach it gives us to access high class presenters across the country and world. Leveraging this, half of our external presenters will deliver via Zoom. For these, we will still meet at St Michael's so we can chat and interact, before, during and after the presentation. If you want to watch from home, this is just fine and the Zoom link will be supplied.

12-Jan Member evening: Photograph of the Year 2025 In the first meeting of 2026, we'll be deciding on the Photograph of the Year for last year, first finding the best digital and print, then finding the overall POTY from these two group winners.
26-Jan Meanderings of a 'Monolophosaurus' with Peter Young CPAGB, AFIAP, HonPAGB Peter Young has judged for us on several occasions. What some may not know is that he's also an ace photographer. Peter is a passionate monochrome print worker and you'll struggle to find a digital file. He will present an eclectic mix of genres that will show the breadth of his very interesting interests.

Remember to submit your entries to Photoentry (including images of prints) for the competition on 09-Feb.

Remember to submit your entries to Photoentry (including images of prints) for the competition on 23-Mar.

23-Mar Open Colour Competition judged by Frank Farrell Our second competition of the year is open to any image - as long as it is colour (ie not monochrome) monochrome.
13-Apr Member evening: Photographic Journeys Here's two for the price of one: club members Ken Jacob and Julie Morgan often feature in competitions. Tonight they will showcase photographs they have taken so we can enjoy these and quiz them on how they do so well!
